			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The first module in this term (MEDI259) just began with an introduction about John Cage and his piece &#8220;4&#8217;33&#8243; which was performed for the first time in 1952. He is seen as one of the key pioneers of modern music and was one of the leading figures of the post-war avant-garde.</p>
<p>The first few weeks we&#8217;re going to deal with Sound Design and Sonic Art.</p>
