In MEDI116 (first year at the University of Plymouth) we were expected to create a website. We were given the assignment to digitise a physical place and represent this place on the internet via website. So we decided to present the Mayflower car park near the Saintsbury’s.
In general we had the aim to make the website quite playful in its interactivity (design and sound) but also keep it as natural and authentic as possible. Therefore we just used two colours (black and orange) for the buttons and the written parts. All through the website we used photos and sounds we recorded right there, except a few button noises. There is one general background sound from the actual place which is repeated again and again.
